The Reason Why I Want to Be an Unwired Mom
I want time to develop my relationship with God, and grow in my spiritual disciplines.
I want to meet my husband and children’s needs for affection, attention and time.
I want to be intentional with my life, with my thoughts, and in my actions.
I want to be available to love my family and my parents, siblings, church friends, and other friends.
I don’t want to spend so much time in front of the computer that I become numb to those around me.
I want to build real friendships and spend time developing those relationships.
I do not want to unconsciously fritter away hours at a time looking at a screen.
I want to focus on making my own environment a pleasurable place to be.
I want to be moving more, and it is hard to move when I am wired.
I do not want to regret the way I spent my time when my children are grown.
