Freezer Cooking (again!)

Last week I decided to try some new freezer recipes.  It seems that with changes in the seasons, I always get bored with what we have been cooking and am ready to try something new.   So, I grabbed my copy of:  Don’t Panic Dinner’s in the Freezer and picked several new recipes.

This week I tried:

  • Pecan Stuffed Chicken Breasts (p. 109)- Have not had this yet.
  • Baked Blueberry French Toast (p. 204)- Very Yummy!  I did not serve it with syrup.  We thought it was sweet enough.
  • French Onion Soup (p. 72)-Yummy, but it was time consuming.  And, it is not very filling.  For an appetizer for a special dinner, I would do this again, but not for a main course.  Slicing and cooking the onions was very time consuming.
  • Cranberry Chicken (p.97)- Quick, easy, yummy.  I used Fat Free Catalina dressing and it turned out just fine.

Have you tried any new freezer recipes lately?
