For the graduation ceremony for home educated students, we are required to submit 12 pictures that are meant to summarize her life in This is impossible, and requires 30 hours of looking at 20,000 pictures. You relive a lot of memories over these photos- as if the months leading up to graduation were not gut-wrenching enough. In any case, I brought the number down to about 150, and these are the ones Anne Mary chose.

Here she is pictured with Sarah, her big sister. This was just before her first haircut. Those eyes!

Age 3, at Disney World. Her only trip there and she remembers exactly nothing. But isn’t she adorable?

Anne always loves to make food- here, she is covered in flour. She’s not the neatest cook, but she does make amazing meals now!

At the zoo- on her birthday. She got stung by a bee shortly after this lovely photo.

In this picture, Anne Mary was playing a piano she found while on a mission trip to Utah. It was a happy time for her- when she travels, she misses her piano time, one of her favorite ways to pass time. Photo credit: Adam Cecil

Studying. In this case, it was for her Worldview Analysis class at Boyce. It’s quite normal to see her sitting quietly and reading. Often, there will be a cup of tea nearby .

Anne Mary is a precious girl. I have loved watching her grow and watching her passions develop into talents, and then into ministries. She loves the Lord, loves music, and loves her family. She is an introvert. She is a fiercely loyal friend. Everyone is  aware that her favorite author is C.S. Lewis.  She is a surprisingly fun girl, though most think she is quiet. She’s a deep thinker. I can’t wait to see where God takes her in the future.  For the fall, Anne Mary plan to continue her enrollment at Boyce College and may be taking some additional classes at other colleges at the same time.

Love the pictures! Love her blue eyes! It’s fun that they want pictures of her to summarize her life! I’d have a hard time picking just 12 too!
