St. Patrick’s Day Food Ideas

For Saint Patrick’s Day every year I plan a green dinner. Of course, we all must wear green that day. Some ideas for a green dinner include a nice leafy salad, mashed potatoes dyed green, pistachio pudding or green jello, chicken or pasta with a green colored sauce. What about green colored milk or juice?

I have never really done a special breakfast for St. Patrick’s Day but maybe I will this year.  Maybe I will buy a box of (gasp!) lucky charms cereal for math manipulatives and breakfast?  Green pancakes?  Green Eggs? I bet I could even find green marshmallows this time of year for rice krispy treats.

Please share with us how you celebrate St. Patrick’s Day and make it fun for your family!
