- Go for a walk around the neighborhood
- Library: Check out a movie or marriage enhancing book, or a clean joke book to share
- Bike ride in the park
- Invite another couple (or several!) for a weekly Bible study
- Pack a Picnic
- Ask for restaurant gift cards for your next occasion and save them for date nights. If you eat dinner at home and go out just for dessert or beverages, you can make the most of your gift cards.
- Spend a night at home without kids just to talk.
- Candelight dinner or dessert after the kids are in bed.�
- Go to a free tennis court at a public park and play a match.
- Go to a University’s free music performances.
- Check the newspaper for free art fairs, art shows, and orchestra performances.
- Browse sales: A mall, flea markets, thrift stores (if you both like shopping).
- Game nights. We love Scrabble, Rumikub, Boggle, and Upwords for two people.
